AIME Industry Training Courses
AIME has always seen micropayments as an exciting place to be. However over the years there have been several interpretations of what micro payment means and what its value is to a content business. We are far removed from the view of one particular CEO of a large platform provider, who was quoted as saying 'micropayments means micro revenues'. To most it is a small transactional payment for an online/digital service (eg game content or TV catch up), charged at small increments, up to £10 – and many have made good money filling the gap that card companies have traditionally not wanted to be in, due to the cost constraints around billing for such small transactions.
There are now numerous different micropayment solutions on the market (from itunes, to wallets, to premium rate) and it's not a 'one glove fits all' environment. So, AIME has set up a range of 'payment' training courses to help merchants and the wider Industry understand which solutions are appropriate for their business, how to maximize conversion/revenue and how to work compliantly within a complex regulatory environment.
Since 2011 AIME has trained 300+ Industry professionals, to improve their understanding of micropayments and application to business. We have even trained the regulators PhonepayPlus & Ofcom.
"PhonepayPlus was pleased to partner with AIME on a programme of industry training for our staff. We were impressed by the breadth of content covered in an accessible and interactive format. The course content was well-researched and objective. Attendee feedback has been positive and we intend to make this course a stable of our training programme."
