NOC elects new Excom to reflect the changing face of the PRS industry

The Network for Online Commerce ( NOC ) has elected a new seven-person executive committee ( Excom ), designed to reflect the more dynamic and converged nature of the premium rate content delivery and billing industry that the not profit trade body represents.

The new team was elected from a shortlist drawn up from among nominations from NOC members.

Neil Penny, commercial director of the NYT Group is Excom chairman and Rob Johnson, CEO of Netcollex serves a second term. They are joined by Jeremy Flynn, head of commercial partnerships at Vodafone, Dee Elnajjar, EU account director vertical markets at Overture, Ray Copeland, head of interconnection and regulation, Opera Telecom, Lesa Green, numbering services and regulatory, Kingston Communications and Sally Weatherall, head of legal, WIN.

Commenting on the new team, NOC Chairman Roy Ellyatt says: This is an excellent Excom. The telemedia industry is fast changing and is now a much more converged and dynamic business than ever before. Our new Excom reflects this convergence within the indstry and draws on expertise from across the board of all the kinds of businesses involved in the sector today.
